Veteran's Day
Eleanor has been so GREAT trying out all of my "therapy" toys and games for school. When I go to Leah's house or they come to my house one of the first questions Eleanor asks is if I have any new games! I usually do. It's great to have such a helpful niece whether she realizes it or not. Thank you Eleanor!

Verteran's Day
The kids had Verteran's day off so Leah brought her kids over for the day and we just "hung out". Lucas LOVES to play Guitar hero with big cousin, Britton I think Britton secretly likes playing guitar hero with Lucas also. Here are some snap shots of the day!

Rebecca and her friends
Rebecca and her friends bored after school. This is how they entertain themselves. I guess if you're together you can find entertainment in almost anything!

First day of school
Today was our first day of school. Mom had many mixed emotions going on. Today Britton started his sophomore year at Redwood. I can't hardly believe it. I remember yesterday I was crying because I didn't want to leave him for kindergarten. Then, I remember crying dropping him off his first day of seventh grade. Then, I remember very vividly crying after dropping him of his first day of High School. Gosh! what's next?? Graduation? Then, mission? Then, marriage and babies?? Well, on another note, Rebecca started seventh grade today at Green Acres Middle School. This was a whole new experience. Between the both of us, our emotions and nerves were flying everywhere! She was extremely nervous (as well as myself) and had major stomach issues this morning. After many prayers and her dad's blessing, I think she was ok. I've been thinking of them all day today wondering how they've been doing. I can't believe summer is already gone. I have another week before I go back and then it'll be back to work for all of us.

Stake Beehive Girl's Camp
This year was Rebecca's first year going to church girl's camp. This year they did it a little different having it just be the Beehives throughout the stake. They had a lot of fun but missed being "mothered" by the fabulous Laurels! I drove up to Camp Wilderness, our church camp site WAY up in the mountains, to pick up some of the girls at the end of the week. I was told it was a pretty windy road.... well..... they were RIGHT! Thankfully I took a dramemine before I left that morning and then after arriving to the destination (2 hours up!) I decided to take another dramemine!!! Thankfully again, I did not get sick!! I did sleep all afternoon, though. Maybe next time one will be sufficient. Here are some pictures of the week.

Our trip to Disneyland
Going to Disneyland with two older children was a whole new experience for us. It was sooooooooooo nice! I cannot even begin to explain how different it was compared to when they were younger. All we can say is that we will definately do it again!! We had sooo much fun!

Our trip to Utah
This is the "This is the Place" monument in Salt Lake City. This monument is extra special to our family because my great great great grandfather, John Pack is on this monument. He was one of the first to come into the valley with Brigham Young and others. This was a definate highlight of our trip.
Britton and Rebecca in John Pack's home. (This is an exact replica of the Pack home in Salt Lake) What a memorable experience for us.
